The Beginning
Before There Was A Church,
There Was A Word.
Long before there was a room, a logo, or a public gathering, God gave us a word that carried our family through seasons we did not know how to survive. That word was "unshakeable."
While our son Kristian was fighting leukemia, our family learned what it meant to trust God in the middle of uncertainty. We did not know then that God was planting the seed of a ministry. But looking back, we can see it clearly: what felt like pain was also preparation.
Church 1228 was born from Hebrews 12:28 — the promise that we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. That scripture became more than a verse. It became our foundation, our language, and our calling.
